Terms of Use

These terms are between you and Mufungo Geeks (Zimbabwe) for the Mufungo Docs app (store title: Mufungo Docs: Scan & Convert, package com.mufungogeeks.mufungodocs) and for the pages at mufungogeeks.com/mufungodocs/ that relate to Mufungo Docs.

By installing or using the app, or by using those pages, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own work. You may not copy the app to sell it, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or use it to build a competing product by scraping our software.

You own your documents. We do not claim copyright in the files, scans, or CVs you create.

The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” Scans, OCR, and PDF conversion can be imperfect. Always check important documents before you rely on them.

You are responsible for your own backups. You are also responsible for any passwords you put on PDFs. If you forget a password, we cannot recover the file — we never receive it.

Do not use Mufungo Docs to:

• Break the law, including copyright theft
• Distribute malware
• Interfere with the app, Google Play, or other people’s devices

The free app shows Google ads, including banners, an interstitial after some finished saves, and a rewarded ad before a CV PDF can be saved. Watching that rewarded ad is how the free CV download is unlocked.

A paid Pro option that removes ads may be offered through Google Play. If it is, Google’s payment terms also apply. We can change or discontinue features, including ad placements and which tools are free.

To the fullest extent allowed by Zimbabwe law, Mufungo Geeks is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost documents, lost profits, or failed conversions, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for Mufungo Docs in the three months before the claim, or zero if you have not paid us.

Some places do not allow certain limits. In those places, the limits apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing here removes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Courts in Zimbabwe may hear disputes, unless a mandatory consumer rule in your country says otherwise.
